Homemade Aerated Chocolate Bars (Aero Chocolate) Recipe

Instructions

  • In a double boiler, melt the chocolate.
  • Heat the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and sugar in a separate saucepan until the sugar dissolves.
  • Incorporate the baking soda into the cream mixture.
  • The mixture will start to foam.
  • Remove from the heat and pour the cream mixture into the melted chocolate.
  • Stir until thoroughly combined.
  • Fill a rectangular dish with parchment paper with the chocolate mixture.
  • Tap the dish a few times on the counter to remove any air bubbles and create a smooth surface.
  • Refrigerate the chocolate for at least 2 hours, or until it reaches room temperature.
  • Remove the chocolate from the dish and peel off the parchment paper once it has set.
  • Cut the chocolate into small rectangles or bars with a sharp knife.
  • Serve and have fun.
