Swirled Chocolate Bark Recipe

This swirled chocolate bark recipe is a simple and delicious holiday treat. The combination of semi-sweet chocolate, peppermint, and white chocolate will satisfy any sweet tooth.

Ingredients

semi-sweet chocolate chips, 12 oz
As a garnish, use crushed candy canes
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
white chocolate chips, 6 oz

Time Needed

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 12 minutes

Instructions

Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet.
In a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips, stirring constantly until smooth.
In a separate double boiler, melt the white chocolate chips, stirring constantly until smooth.
Melt the white chocolate and stir in the peppermint extract.
Spread the melted semi-sweet chocolate evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle the semi-sweet chocolate with the melted white chocolate.
Swirl the chocolates together with a toothpick or knife.
Crush the candy canes over the top.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Cut into pieces to serve.
